Layer | Video-Mapping workshop


The aim of the course is to transmit participants minimum skills to employ the techniques of videomapping as instruments of representation and communication of a concept.

The workshop will last 4 days. During the first one, new-media art and videomapping projects by Studio Anti-materia and other well-known studios will be presented as first introduction to the subject. During the second day, following up a theoretical lesson, participants will begin to use the softwares specified for the project. During the third day videomapping techniques will be presented on both a theoretical and practical level. The lasting hours will be dedicated to a direct confrontation with the groups and the finalisation of the project. During the afternoon on the fourth day the exhibition of the workshop’s participants will be opened.

Participants will be divided into five groups at most. They will be required to develop a physical or digital model on the basis of the actual possibilities.
